Christoforos Mamas

Dr. Christoforos Mamas is an Assistant Professor in Transforming Special Education at the University of California, San Diego. His research at the Department of Education Studies primarily examines the social participation and inclusion of students with disabilities in general education settings. Methodologically, Dr. Mamas applies social network analysis methods and perspectives as well as mixed methods approaches. His research is driven by a commitment towards bridging the gap between research and practice. One of the main contributions of his work is the development of a social network analysis toolkit to enable educators and school leaders to create more socially responsive and inclusive K-12 classrooms and school communities.
