Trevor Bonjour

Assistant Teaching Professor

Trevor Bonjour is an Assistant Teaching Professor in the Department of Computer Science and Engineering at the University of California, San Diego, and the Program Director for the Early Research Scholars Program (ERSP). His work focuses on advancing AI education, with research interests in computing education, machine learning, reinforcement learning, and causal inference. Trevor is passionate about evidence-based teaching and increasing student engagement in large classes. Trevor worked in the software industry for five years before completing his Master’s in Computer Science from Johns Hopkins University and PhD in Computer Science at Purdue University.
